Recycling kitchen waste
Not a nice thought, but its a lot easier than you think. I started composting just over 4 years ago, did take some getting used to but the main thing I noticed was how little waste rubbish now goes in my main bin.
Getting a #compost bin is quite straightforward these days, many Local Authorities in the UK have heavily subsidised offers - I actually got mines free! but each year offers & schemes do change so check here

Additionally most authorities give away free compost several times a year, you just turn up with some bags - there's usually guys on hand with shovels etc.
